Configure UnGeo Smart DNS on your Windows 11 device and start streaming supported content with a fast, simple setup.

Before You Start

Before changing your DNS settings, make sure your UnGeo account is active and your current IP address is added in your Client Area. If that is already done, continue with the DNS setup below.

Add your current IP address

Add your current IP address in the Client Area to allow UnGeo to work properly.

Register My IP Address

Once both are done, continue with the DNS setup steps.

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Open Windows Network Settings

Click the Start menu and open Settings. Go to Network & internet, then select Advanced network settings.

Open More Network Adapter Options

Under Related settings or More settings, click More network adapter options. This will open the classic Network Connections window.

Choose Your Active Connection

Right-click your active connection, such as Wi-Fi or Ethernet, and select Properties.

Open IPv4 Settings

Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), then click Properties.

Enter UnGeo Smart DNS

Choose Use the following DNS server addresses. Enter the values shown in your UnGeo Client Area into Preferred DNS and Alternate DNS.

Save Your Changes

Click OK to save the settings, then close all open network windows.

You’re All Set!

Restart your browser or streaming app if needed. You can now start watching your favorite channels with UnGeo Smart DNS.

Troubleshooting

Check that your DNS addresses were entered correctly. Then restart your browser, streaming app, or Windows 11 device.
Clear your DNS cache and make sure your current IP address is registered in your UnGeo account.
Open Command Prompt as administrator and run ipconfig /flushdns.
Contact UnGeo support and include your device name, current IP address, and the streaming service you are trying to access.
