Acceptable Use Policy
This policy explains how UnGeo may and may not be used. It helps keep our Smart DNS service reliable, fair, secure, and available for all customers.
Use UnGeo responsibly
UnGeo is built for personal Smart DNS streaming access on supported devices. To protect our users, network, infrastructure, and service quality, every customer must follow this Acceptable Use Policy.
1 Purpose of This Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy explains the rules for using the UnGeo website, Smart DNS service, account area, setup guides, support channels, and related services.
By using UnGeo, you agree to use the service responsibly, lawfully, and in a way that does not harm UnGeo, other users, third-party services, or our infrastructure.
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. If you violate this policy, we may suspend or terminate your account, limit service access, refuse support, or take other action described below.
2 Intended Use
UnGeo is intended for lawful personal use as a Smart DNS service for supported streaming access and device compatibility.
You may use UnGeo to configure compatible devices, update your IP address, follow setup guides, access supported streaming apps where available, and receive account or technical support.
3 Personal Use Only
Unless we give written permission, UnGeo is for personal, household, and non-commercial use only.
You may not:
- resell, rent, sublicense, or commercially redistribute UnGeo access;
- share your account with people outside your household;
- use one subscription to serve multiple unrelated users, locations, businesses, or public networks;
- include UnGeo access as part of another product, service, bundle, or paid offer;
- operate a public DNS relay, proxy, gateway, or shared access point using UnGeo.
4 Lawful Use
You must use UnGeo only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and third-party rights.
You may not use UnGeo to:
- commit, support, or hide illegal activity;
- commit fraud, identity theft, payment abuse, or account takeover;
- infringe intellectual property rights, copyrights, trademarks, or other rights;
- harass, threaten, abuse, or harm any person or organization;
- distribute illegal, harmful, deceptive, or malicious content;
- violate the terms, policies, or rights of third-party services.
5 No Network Abuse
You may not use UnGeo in a way that damages, disrupts, overloads, scans, attacks, or interferes with our systems, networks, DNS infrastructure, servers, software, or other users.
Prohibited network activity includes:
- denial-of-service attacks, flooding, excessive automated requests, or traffic abuse;
- port scanning, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, or probing without permission;
- attempting to bypass technical limits, account limits, rate limits, or security controls;
- using scripts, bots, crawlers, or automated tools to overload or abuse the service;
- tampering with DNS routing, service configuration, or UnGeo infrastructure;
- interfering with the normal operation of the website, client area, DNS service, or support systems.
6 No Security Misuse
You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to UnGeo accounts, systems, servers, databases, networks, payment systems, support tools, or any other restricted area.
You may not:
- attempt to access another user’s account;
- use stolen, leaked, fake, or unauthorized login details;
- attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or exploit UnGeo systems;
- test, bypass, disable, or weaken security protections without written permission;
- upload, distribute, or transmit malware, spyware, phishing content, or malicious code;
- use UnGeo to support hacking, credential theft, phishing, or other abusive activity.
7 Account and Billing Abuse
You must provide accurate account and billing information and keep your account secure.
The following activities are prohibited:
- creating multiple accounts to bypass trials, limits, restrictions, or refund rules;
- using false, misleading, stolen, or unauthorized payment information;
- abusing discounts, coupons, promotions, or trial access;
- submitting fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes;
- sharing login details publicly or with unauthorized users;
- attempting to avoid payment while continuing to use the service.
8 Streaming Provider Accounts
UnGeo does not provide streaming subscriptions, channels, movies, TV shows, live broadcasts, or third-party content.
You are responsible for having valid accounts and subscriptions with the third-party streaming services you choose to use.
You may not use UnGeo to:
- avoid paying for third-party streaming subscriptions;
- access third-party accounts without permission;
- share, resell, or misuse streaming provider accounts;
- violate the rules, terms, or account requirements of third-party services.
9 Device and Router Use
You may use UnGeo on supported personal devices and home networks according to your subscription plan and our setup guides.
You may not configure UnGeo on public networks, shared commercial networks, hotels, offices, public Wi-Fi systems, resold internet services, or multi-user environments without written permission.
You are responsible for your own device, router, DNS settings, internet provider configuration, and network security.
10 Support Abuse
We want to provide fast and helpful support, but support channels must be used respectfully and reasonably.
You may not:
- harass, threaten, insult, or abuse support staff;
- send repeated duplicate messages or spam support channels;
- provide false information to obtain refunds, access, or account changes;
- request help for illegal, abusive, or prohibited activity;
- misuse live chat, email, ticketing, or contact forms.
We may limit support or suspend accounts connected to abusive communication or repeated misuse of support channels.
11 Fair Use and Service Quality
UnGeo is designed to provide reliable service for normal personal use. Excessive, abusive, automated, or abnormal usage may affect service quality for other users.
We may apply reasonable technical limits, rate limits, abuse controls, IP update limits, account checks, or other measures to protect the service.
If your usage creates technical, security, operational, or compliance risk, we may contact you, limit access, suspend the account, or terminate the service.
12 Prohibited Content and Activity
You may not use UnGeo in connection with content, activity, or behavior that is illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or dangerous.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- malware, phishing, scams, spam, botnets, or credential theft;
- fraud, payment abuse, stolen accounts, or identity misuse;
- harassment, threats, hate, exploitation, or abuse;
- copyright infringement, piracy, or unauthorized content distribution;
- attempts to disrupt, damage, or compromise networks or systems;
- activity that may expose UnGeo, users, or partners to legal, security, or operational risk.
13 Monitoring and Enforcement
We may monitor account activity, technical usage patterns, IP updates, support history, payment status, and service behavior to detect abuse, protect infrastructure, prevent fraud, and enforce this policy.
We do not monitor your private streaming content. However, we may review technical and account-level information necessary to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
If we believe your account violates this policy, we may take action with or without prior notice, depending on the severity and urgency of the issue.
14 Actions We May Take
If you violate this Acceptable Use Policy, our Terms of Service, or related policies, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- issue a warning or request corrective action;
- limit, suspend, or disable service access;
- block abusive IP addresses, accounts, or payment methods;
- remove trial, promotional, or refund eligibility;
- terminate your subscription or account;
- refuse future service;
- report serious abuse to payment providers, hosting providers, law enforcement, or relevant authorities where appropriate.
15 Reporting Abuse
If you believe someone is misusing UnGeo, attempting to abuse our service, or violating this policy, please contact us with relevant details.
Useful information may include account email, IP address, screenshots, timestamps, message content, transaction reference, or a short description of the issue.
We review abuse reports and take reasonable action where appropriate.
16 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect service changes, security needs, legal requirements, payment provider rules, or abuse-prevention practices.
When we update this policy, we may change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of UnGeo after changes are published means you accept the updated policy.
